MSc elective on Urban Infrastructure Futures
Led by Dr Anna Plyushteva , the Master's elective in Urban Infrastructure Futures brings together students from across the taught graduate degree programmes offered at the School of Geography and the Environment.
Over the course of six sessions, the students examine how infrastructures, understood as socio-technical systems, shape and are shaped by different visions of urban futurity.
The elective takes an indisciplinary approach to themes such as crisis; megaprojects; repair and maintenance; ruination; and the Anthropocene, drawing on cases from across different sectors and geographies.
The elective is offered in Hilary Term.
